Xbox One X Game-breaking missing features, this is my 2nd post on the issue

2

Next to nothing of the environment can be destroyed. Some people consider this "hardly gamebreaking". I beg to differ. I play a melee crusader and equipping storm shields is pointless when even tin barrels reaching barely up to my knee can stop my heroic charge. If you don't add this in a future patch certain items will remain next to useless. Obviously a melee crusader needs to close the gap as fast as possible and a storm shield would certainly help... if only tin barrels did not have the properties of a 3m thick concrete wall. A crusader wearing massive power armor is stopped by a tin barrel that barely reaches his knee.... and lets not forget all the trailers showcasing the "visual impact of attacks on the surrounding world". Why is it no longer in the game when it was even in the console release trailer? Even games that have been out for years manage to have destructible environment on consoles (e.g. Diablo 3 console version).

So I am confused as to why this suddenly is not in the game and why there is no reaction at all from the devs. It limits my tactical options and is therefore not "merely cosmetic" but limiting my options when basically everything is an indestructible obstacle and will insta-stop my character, leaving my character at the mercy of enemy combatants which open up on me - while I try to run around the indestructible mighty barrel or the occasional metal pipe -. I should be able to smash through thin walls while in power armor ffs. I don't want to calculate angles to play this game with a storm shield  in the probably vain hope that you will add promised and advertised features like this to the console versions as well. Did you feed us the PC trailer so console players would be fooled into buying the game or where is the visual impact / destructible environment you showed in the aforementioned trailer (and also mention that most of the environment can be destroyed ingame in the tooltip section)?

I bought the game in the belief I would get what you showed before. Instead now there is neither destructibe environment (which has tactical value) nor limb dismemberment (which also would have had tactical value, but which has now supposedly canceled for good - according to forum posts, despite you having showcased this as well). It's like you showed me a car with 4 wheels and then sold me one with only two. Yet now,  these advertised features are suddenly not even in the release of the console version anymore.  I strongly hope you will add them with the next patch. As I said before I feel misled because nowhere did you mention that the console version would differ in any way from the PC version (which comments on the forums imply that it will.. like I said supposedly you said limb dismemberment was not coming to consoles at all anymore). I did not spend 80€ on a game that suddely has main features missing which you even showcased for console before. What happened to them?

Same feeling about aiming with a sniper on a leg or the arm to disable an attack or ability of a boss monster --> It doesn't work on console (at least on my PS4), furhermore i'm not able to aim at pillars to get them down on enemys (silly sidenote: There is even a archievement for this, but it only works with the red implosion barrels) :(

All in all i have really fun with the game but all the bugs and the loosing ends of finishing the game (at least on consoles) doesn't give neocore much credit.

So no "keep up the good work" --> Start with the good work ASAP!!!

Are you sure? Did you try holding down the button for the snipershot?  You will get a rotating graphic which shows head/arm/leg with a dmg-multiplier in the middle and if you stop pressing the button you shoot at the chosen bodypart.

This is how it works on xbox.

Best regards.
