Empyrean key question

Just a question about Empyrean keys: how do you get them?

Lvl 58, have not found a single one.

Done some Intel's, random missions, priority assignments but nothing so far.

Do they drop in void crusades?

Can't seem to find much info about this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'll be......

Just got one now, doing a warzone mission.

I defeated a revenant at the end of the mission but I didn't notice getting one from it.

was it from the revenant then?

I think you get them from the mob that spawns when the bar fills .. that one that fills up with kills

It seems you can only hold 1 of them.

At least I've never more than 1 in my inventory.
