We are going to update the W40K Build Soon
Warhammer 40K Support AreaThe Founding is now live!
Before you buy or download, read everything very carefully and note that the build you’re downloading (in the few first hours at least) is not a current Founding build, but an earlier one. You might want to wait a few hours for a better experience, otherwise there might be crashes.

Install the dxsetup from the folder /InstallUtils
Doesn't seem to help
P.S: power sword VS Dreadnought=not gud :<
The 5,3GB update is OK. Do not reinstall the gamefor the moment!
1. I can start it without any error
2. Can play Map or switch trough the systems without any error
3. The textures of the items are missing. but i think this is normal at the moment.
4. the chat is a little bit buggy
The Game is very funny
This build i huge better as the last one. There are Worlds between both! But this was expected! ;-)
So far so good! Well done for the moment!
Currently, I just got home and tested it, but that's interesting.

I have the same problem atm and reinstalling directx from the folder you mentioned doesn't seem to help. I have d3d_compiler_46.dll in my game folder but no signs of d3d_compiler_47.dll that game wants.
This and the Processor are not the newest one. I have a i7 77xx he has a 47xx min. 3-4 years old
Ok, I got he 5.3GB download. but get "Failed to start game (unknown error)"
i7 4790k,
16GB ram
908Ti driver up to date
Win10 up to date
what do I try next?
I can't start the game after the update. And when i try to start it whit the Warhammer_x64_11.exe , I get only Error: d3dcompiler_47.dll is missing as pop-up
Maybe i know the reason. Steam dont allow you to release Games or EA over the Weekend. But patches and updates are OK. So they release any version because the next chance are Monday. So now they have a build and can patch it.. This is very Clever!
regards

Woops double.
And they said very clearly it will be a long buggy not always pretty ride!
Also i think this is their first time of working like this on steam.
So i am quite sure things will be better in the future!
Good. I had to restart Steam to get it to pick up. So if any of you don't be getting it yet, just restart Steam
Let's purge some heretics....
Hello, I'm back home. Tried to play again, same error "Failed to start game (unknown error)"
Am I doing somthing wrong or was the game's main Alpha launch broken?
It's cool if you need time to fix stuff but why waste people bandwith if you know it's not going to work?
All our sleepless energy is with you for support ;)
May your fight be a victory in His glorious name !
It´s still not the aplha build. Dev wrote, that when the build will be up and running, they will aslo start a new topic here to announce it, so you will ot miss it :)
I'll reserve my review for the proper build then, I eagerly look forward to it. I think this has a promising start even with the the lesser of the two builds.
What? A review??? For a EA Title!

My honest feedback is, this game will not go very far without an equally addictive and fun substitute for the traditional Loot Hunt/Drop mechanic. This genre of game will not go very far - regarless if this is a WH40k game - without it. The combat being fun and satisfying is very important, but so is the loot hunt, and that important feeling of excitement and reward for getting Epic gear.
So hopefully this is already being taken care of by the devs for the future.
Set this current order state as My default.
