Why? The road map is the same, Update in the next 2 weeks. It is only the Nov. and Dec. patches put together as one.

Really? It's Mid Dec. and no Official word. White Knights like you are why Gaming Company's fell they can get away with any kind of S**T on Gamers. .

Stay calm! Yes devs probably can post here everyday at least something to HYPE it up.

Hi guys,

We would like to thank you all for your patience. It seems like the patch will be available this week. So stay tuned!

To the Devs: You have made a huge PR blunder here. I urged you guys in another thread back on Nov 30th, to make a formal announcement regarding this delay. Instead you guys are running around in multiple thread here and on steam, trying to put out all the fires. As a result, you now have a serious wave of negative feedback building up in the Steam forums & reviews. I really hope the upcomming patch launches without any major issues, otherwise the damage to your reputation and that of the game, could be significant.

Ctiger, I have personally gave updates on every single improvement about the patch situation on a daily basis and explained everything for those who have asked.

There was no blunder and there were definitely no fires. Waiting for a couple extra weeks for a major content update is nothing short of ordinary. However, the plan had to change for the worse, so:

As of continuing my duty, some really grim news I have to give to you, but this is just a heads up as we will have an official announcement up really soon this time.

Patch will have to be delayed for a final ETA, which is in a month. Everything looks good so far, it just needs more time to be perfect, we don't want to release a mediocre update.

Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for the official announcement here and on our CM Hub.

That's great to know, but, here's the thing: not everyone reads every forum post to know that, especially on Steam. You should've release an official statement, Steam has the news page for a reason. It would help a lot

That is quite the news. You have been promising people on the Steam forums for the past 2 weeks that the update would be this week. It's going to be very interesting to see the reaction to this coming announcement.

Recent reviews on Steam have gone from 80% Very Positive to 73% mostly positive in the last 2 weeks. If you don't think your failure to make a formal announcemrnt on the initial delay was a "blunder", do you think that promising to deliver this week and then not, is one ?

You guys had been doing such a great job communicating up to this point...what happened ?? If I were you guys, I would not make any firm promises on a date for the patch until you are 110% sure it's ready. When it comes to development of the game itself, I'm very patient as are most of the other players. You guys have done a great job. Please don't blow things now on the communications side.

In my opinion, communication on that level seems like a hard thing to do right. I could see why such announcements are not pushed out right after you experience a minor delay(especially in early access) .Delays are not strange in the complicated business of software development, stuff just breaks after you hit the save button. I'd rather have them work it out perfectly rather than having to rush a patch on christmas eve if it isn't.

large scale communication of delays are not always a good thing. if you push out (relatively)bad news too soon, people expect you to do so the next time as well. I have seen this getting out of hand quite quickly.

I'm happy to see that Neocore cares enough to do it right, despite of a delay that might create.

Happy holidays everyone!

i agree with ctiger something should have been posted here since this is the place where most players go to know whats going on it didnt have to be a big post just a pinned post saying we have some issues and update is being delayed something along those lines here on the game main page all of us would have been ok with that even though the game is in alpha we as a community we all want this game to succeed with some sort of communication with whats happenning .

The decision was only made yesterday - If you re-read what Megapull said -  an official letter/post is being written up. Be patient and we shall have our information as soon as it's been written, it shall be big - it shall be pinned and it'll be hard to miss, just like the other developer letters.

Given that we get information live as it happens - If you want official and in depth information - Wait for stickies and don't read the forums is my advice. What we get here has always been 24-48 hours ahead of official posts :) it's near impossible to construct one of these posts the same day as these decisions are made - but the information reported as being absent is being constructed.

Be patient, information is coming. Accept that hearing information live as it happens will sometimes involve waiting for the official post the following day.(s)

Mighty Snakefist, in His Wisdom, gives an up-vote for releasing a small patch before holidays - for example, raising level caps and fixing Cabals. He would play faithfully those extra levels, bringing the glory to the Emperor, and also our Mighty Cabal, whose unstoppable progression was... stopped... by basically unfinishable missions. Often even the little things can mean a world to true fans, and are a reason to return to playing, joyfully!

Acc-level seems like a trivial work to increase, and yet increase can open another whole skilltree or two, helping in building more diverse characters.

Another star system looks like more work, but He believes you've already finished that for delayed patch.

Whole drop-system looks automated, so increased Inq-levels would mean something also (needs another star-system, though).

Whole thing will reduce tensions, too - and there are many of them. Remember that testers and supporters were satisfied with Psyker on official release day, months in the future. When it was announced for December, every day become relevant... and tense.

Do the small patch, add *a bit* of content, fix chat, fix cabals (only current bugs), and release major patch when it's ready.
