- Understanding the game
Hi guys
So i am waiting to get paid to buy this game but wanted to try and get a community feedback and dev feedback on the future of this game as i am reading a lot of reviews both good and bad to help with my choice.
The majority seams vastly positive with the game running and looking amazing with the right feel to it.
some of the negatives i wanted to address to give me a peace of mind.
1. Many even in positive reviews say about the repetitiveness of the game, i know its alpha but is there main plans for many different maps and quest choices to make it seam changing and different. I.E. things like helping the guard hold down a position or doing investigations or even missions off other chapters.
2. I heard the game will be expanding at a continuous rate with new systems added as it progresses in it development, hope this is true but will wait and see.
3. With the hefty price for an early build now will paying this mean any future content be free or will it be pay as it goes along this is always hazy for me with early builds.
I realise its early build and not finished and i realise i prob haven't done more to learn but trying my best. Thx for all replys.
One last bit seen a bit of talk saying about the whole open world sand box thing and the....lack of it not sure why or what this means but for me open world sandbox means go where you like with no restrictions( bar big bad horrible baddies blocking the way) Someone shine the Emperors light on this for me.

Free content for future + DLC
Game seems boring for 2 reasons. E/A isn't here to impress us. It's for testing. We have 4/12 maps and 5/50 mission types etc.
Also Elite combat / Boss fights arent in yet. Which is the main pleasure from ARPG combat. Clearing trash is always dull. People just haven't bothered to look at whats coming.
Hope that helps.
I do agree but i find a lot of the time its not that people cannot be bothered you will find most dont have the know how on spending time in forums and getting updates from games, people like me work till late get in spend time with family and then grab an hour on a game.
With that kind of time frame asking around is more practical for the people who have more time to do thoes things that can help others with info they spent time gathering,
The free dlc/content is awsom well happy with that and yea the road map looking pretty awsom so far.
As for the open world i see what they mean and where they are coming from but i can also understand a lot of peoples confusion, bit of a double edged sword on that topic i think.
I would recommend that you start by reading the roadmap found at the top in the purple sticky threads.
I will say this...I have been a founder since the start. Every content promise the Devs have made, has been delivered on so far. With that said, buy if you are willing to test & provide feedback, otherwise wait until release.
In my opinion, most of the negative feedback in Steam, is from those who bought without heeding the Devs "buyer beware" warning on the store page.
Deff agree here i read the road map and it looks pretty awesome but i am 50/50 a lot of the time with trust when it comes to devs but with you saying being a founder since start and devs always pulling through......that is enough for me as its the community that defines a game......I am guilty though i did buy it in the end i couldn't wait so i will be looking and providing feedback hoping to help progress this game.
