I did so well the last couple days not even coming close to looking at the cesspit that is Steam's reviews/forums. Your comment poked a hole in the wall of blessed ignorance and I trod hesitantly into the den of heresy. I was not disappointed but entirely unsurprised. I recommend a level one purge of all data, followed by the worst offenders being rendered down into servitors. :P
"Fanboys just downvoting to justify the money they spent on it" being the least irritating and stupid, which is relative because it's still pretty irritating and stupid.
I'm starting to think that Steam has become a terrible platform to release titles on period, and unfortunately is the only one with the kind of reach that is needed. I'm also starting to think that ToS age limits need to be enforced again, because tweens with mommy's credit card ruining my gaming is getting old, but that's a rant of righteous wrath for another time.
This popped up in my queue as I was putting on music to blast the cobwebs out and I was kind of surprised that you didn't take a bit longer to touch on some of the things that have been changed in the current build. The zoomed out view on it all was kind of lacking in detail. Not that it's a bad video, just that it didn't get into the kind of detail that I started to expect after some of your others.
Keep up the good work and crank out some more. :P
Could have spent hours talking about how the power level changed in addition to a hundred other things, very true. The purpose was more to motivate rather than inform and aimed at new players forum users, just to show them that feedback makes a big difference! So I kept it fairly brief. Did initially plan a Before / After comparison, but found it to be a bit dreary and to lack any real "point" :D
If you want detailed wait for my power rating system review. That's going to be long, slow and full of numbers. With enough meat to get a good 50 post thread going.
Nice as usual. looking forward to your "negative review" video.
