Reload animations
Warhammer 40K DiscussionFirst of all, I am a big fan of reloading in games in general so I'm happy this game does that. It always adds a tactical layer to gameplay.
The thing with Martyr is, that all weapons have the same reload animation. Reload a shotgun like a rifle? Reload a rifle like a gun?
I would like to see some more variety in these animations, at least fitting ones to the equipped guns. Also all guns should have different reload times. Even in W40k you can't tell me that a heavy-bolter reloads as fast as sub-maschine gun.
To go even further - how about creating weapon jamming on a X-X % chance? It also is a part of W40k.
I know this is not a much needed gameplay feature but it would add some layer of realism to the game. Whos with me? :)

Because in this game, the animation speed and there is a recharge time. Just like the speed of shooting some other skills.
There are problems more strongly affecting the game and they are not being decided yet.

True, not a military sim. But why then the reloading at all? I don't want that level of detail as Killing Floor 2, but at least fitting animation or times to the equipped weapon. This game is build as a slower paced game, so why don't take this into account?
I don't believe you would have to fit skills to that, cause when you have to reload, you can't use your skill at all before that.
This is not a military simulator, you do not have to compare the game with reality and ask for full compliance. At least because then you have to remake the entire game starting with the skills, and then they also do not fit into the reloading process.
