The reset of the unwanted skill tree had not worked, it had given me the points but the skills were still there. (I saw that this was a bug when searching the forums. There really needs to be a "Common bugs FAQ" sticky.
My avalible passive skill points turned into a negative number (-8), from zero (0), after I changed my passives.
(-8) 86 Distributed.
I went up a level and I am now at -7. :-(
(-7) 86 Distributed.
What can I do to fix this?

just reset by the "mind reset" anyone tree. due to a some bug you got spare skills during the reset and repartition of skills points.
