My honest Feedback to the Game

First of all, I really enjoyed your game so far. I started playing around last Chirstmas and leveled 2 toons all the way to 100 and the third one is one the way to 100 as well.

I am deep into endgame, my Psyker can clear any map level without problems. I generally like grinding games a lot, so I though maybe my honest feedback might help evolving this nice game to something even greater :)

THE GOOD:

==========

* Setting

* Atmosphere: dark and bloody!

* Performance: never had any significant performance problems (playing on PS4 PRO), so I was impressed what you get out on consoles

* The balance changes on ranged weapons offers much more build diversity

* I could move on here a lot, but you dont need honey, Right?

*  overall its a cool game!


THE NOT so GOOD:

================

Does not ruin experience, but details matter, and maybe something is easy to fix?

* The character selection screen is not cool at all after prophecy, does not fit the dark and bloody attitude. You try to make a badass toon and then he stands in plain sand?

* Should be able to select any appearance for any fitting item you can wear. As of now you might find an item with perfect stats but you always doomed to a shi..ty look since you cant choose the item model except minor TIER changes.

* Changing appearance on items is not well done, produces sometimes unecpected and unstable resuls (i.e. temporaily lost after rerolling stats), not very intuitive overall

* TechAdept looks not badass at all: moves on spider legs, silly hats,...

* Alpha Pariah is not my taste as well, at least she could have evolved a bit in prophecy, not only wearing a new hat? ;-)

* Map layout is very static, I already know from my memory just starting a map at which spot will be what content, encounter, events etc.

* Why cant we reroll color slots on inculators? Makes crafting this items very delicate, and most hard to get perfect item.

* All of the crimson wanderer and tank missions feel uncessary, they add very little to the game, so I want them done as quick as possible to move on

* Several times I managed to be in the glory rewards of top 10 or even top 3 of the week and the extra rewards are rather underwhelming


THE UGLY:

The esence of an item like this on a longer runs is ITEMS and ENDGAME and in both I see some signifcant flaws:

* VOID CRUSADES: Basically a nice idea to link missions to a small campain. But having the exact clone of the maps each time feel boring as hell to me. You should be able to randomize things (info fragments, chests, difficulties). Its really not encouraging forced to start with low level maps each time, instead one should be able to boost difficulties right from the start for better rewards in return.

* 99 MAPS: They pose some challenge but in return the reward is negligable. The reward should equally scale with the challenge, otherwise long term motivation to improve builds and gear is lacking

* ANCIENTT RELIC ITEMS: Oh my...

- at least 80% feels like total garbage, at least not better than a well roled archeotech. Why is the stats pool limited to only 1+3?

- As a player you gimp yourself unlocking them, while some are even not unlockable at all (had an iculator with healing condition but no red component on it), or rdiculous high ("kill 1000 elite(!) rebel enemies"). Just again you figure out its trash.

- Also please indicate somehow if a relic is unique in the sense it can roll a stat that is not common at this spot with a colored mark. For instance, I got a grenade launcher "with stun after kill" which could be easily overlooked to be unique since afik it can not roll on normal grenade launchers.

+ Some ancient relics are very cool though, like the purity seal that has "explode on stuned kill" on it, which offers builds not available otherwise. Farmed my a.. off to get my hands on one of these.

* ITEMIZATION:

-  not knowing what can roll on which item (Archeotech have a differnt stats pool to make it even more complicated) costs me millions of credits so far. Meanwhile I figured out from my own experience and listings in the web, but wasting credits for nothing really ruins the fun, just to figure out it could not even roll. So you should not only indicate the values that can roll but also the stats pool that can roll if you reroll.

So please specifically think on Options to make the endgame more attractice!


Overall keep up the good work and this game could be a pearl! :)

We are currently working on the Archeotech weapons, some cool changes will get implemented in the upcoming period. Some Ancient relics indeed feel lacking, we will get through them as soon as we can.
There will be a more challenging mode in Void Crusade as well! The next patch will introduce this option.
The Inoculator problem with the wrong components/unlock requirement is on our to-do list we will handle this ASAP.

The rest of the itemization feedback will get considered by our designers, thanks for the long feedback!
