I was playing together in a party with one other player and after completing a mission, we both got demoted from level 11 to level 10. It is also showing -1 skill point being available now:
Logging out and back in didn't fix the issue.

I also lost 3 levels between earlier today and when I just logged in. I didn't check the skill points however. went from 19-16
Not much point in playing now that we level backwards
is it possible that by changing exp requirements for levels that after a mission it recalculates your exp? - or is it actually just going backwards? :D if so thats... interesting :D
Was demoted by 2 levels myself.
I lost two levels after the patch but had enough experience to regain one Level after one Mission. I was left with -1 Skill Point, too, but the game did not take away any acquired skills, it just notes that I have spent "too much" ;-)
I guess the XP-costs per level have changed, and instead of increasing XP to meet our current levels, the game matched our levels to the new XP-costs...
