I figured it out, it was the missing dll file, which I originally "fixed" in the wrong location. Not sure how to delete this post all together, so I thought I'd just edit it for now.

I'm trying to verify the game's files. Perhaps that will work. I will edit with my results and let you know.

EDIT: Verifying didn't seem to help. Not sure what else to try.

Fortunately that was a temporary network issue... on to playtesting!

Had same issue, game would flash and nothing would happen. It was the missing d3dcompiler_47.dll issue.

Now I am seeing Network Errror...
