Final Cut: Gog/Steam checksum mismatch.

My friend and I just tried playing this game online. I am using the Gog verson, my friend is using the steam version. We both just did a fresh install of the game. We cannot play because the two versions do not match.

My checksum is: 6F2D2F4

My friend's checksum is: F390E2E6

How do we fix this?
