LOL, ok.....less than 1 minute into the video and i'm done. Hope that no crit thing works out for you bro.
I'm currently at 35% crit with my exitus, and yes it's a very VERY good weapon. 1 shotting elites is just too funny.

For anyone else wanting a justification as to why it's viable - A flat +35-50% in ranged damage along with another 30-40% to CC'd enemies + another 10-20% damage from armour piece/breaking damage is exactly the same, if not better than anything a crit build can offer.
I'd encourage you to keep an open mind with builds, if you are make sweeping assumptions about them without considering the calculations then you really can't participate in any discussion about their viability.

Crit multi is 1.5 right?
that means 1% crit = 1.5% more DPS basically. Hydra's build has a 35% base damage increase, 12% to all skills on his wep, then another 40% while they're CC'd, which with the rifle is ALWAYS. without the rifle skill damage counted in, that's 70% more flat damage. You would need 46.66 crit chance to equal that in terms of DPS. WITH the 12% to skills (assuming additive multiplier) that's an 87% damage increase, you'd need 58% crit to equal that.
and the +20% from the perk! Nearly forgot about that.
Yup, that means another 13.33% crit needed then, bringing it up to 73.33% For 35% crit to equal that flat damage boost of 107%, you'd need a crit damage of roughly 306%. That's DOUBLE the base crit damage.
Critical damage bonus multipliers should be ranged between 0.5 and 3, and in between those which are then multiples of 0.5, f.e. 1 or 2.5.

currently, they're not though, it's just a flat 1.5 iirc
@SOLDRYN THE RED. Next time you critique something, show you're working out and a little less attitude otherwise you come across as a bit of dick.
It's not my argument so I'm not doing the exact math for you, but with a 1.5% multiplier you would need upwards of 60% ish crit to compete with hydras build.

The gamefile about critical tables contains different info.
if you mean 0.5 / 1 and 1.5 then it's just referring to the amount of additional damage as a % added. But +0.5 is the same as 150% which is the same as x1.5 etc. As far as I've been able to see in game, the standard crit multiplayer is around these figures. Before investment.
Character sheet could deffinately do with a fix up - its about as clear as mud when it comes to guessing what your crit multiplayer actually gets to with + Crit Mult gear. I'm working on the hypothesis that +2 = +2%
It could be the case that different weapons have different crit multipliers though, hadn't tested this or seen anything in game that goes toward explaining it.
I'm so jealous. Coop is almost impossible to play for me due to the lag. Nice video.
