The "Empyrean Ally" Echo had been added via a Tech-Adept Construct Turret summoning function. As such, the Marine behaves like a Tech-Adept Turret Construct: he won't follow you, he emits a binary screech and drops Champion tier loot upon dying, and he dies in 30 seconds upon summoning.

Guys, IMHO that needs to be fixed.

Yeah, I thought something was wrong when even melee empyrean marine allies remained in place. This should be fixed as it would be a very fun effect otherwise.
