I tried to play a little bit with no success since I'm not able to connect at all since I cannot pass the login screen.

4 days ago I played a long session without any issues.

Is there any update or work in progress that I'm not aware of right now?

The same problem occurred when connecting to the servers. An unknown error occurred

Honestly, that sounds really frustrating. I’ve had the same thing happen before, everything worked great, and then out of nowhere I couldn’t even get past the login screen. Sometimes it’s just a server issue or a quiet update causing trouble. Hopefully it’s fixed in a few days when you try again.
