cabal online status?

When I have a look at my cabal's members, some of them are listed as offline in the member list, but the member info shows them as currently online. Obviously they are not online in Martyr, so does this track Steam online status?

I do not believe that is useful, I'd prefer if it only shows whether or not a cabal member is online in Martyr ;-)
